Since May 2005, Chris Longwell has built Techton Construction from the ground up, one project and one relationship at a time.  What began with a commitment to quality craftsmanship has grown into a trusted San Diego decking company with a reputation built largely through referrals, repeat customers, and decades of hands-on experience. 

 

For Chris, building a deck has never been just about lumber, composite materials, or construction.  It is about creating a safe and beautiful place where families can come together to celebrate birthdays and holidays, share meals, entertain friends, watch sunsets, or simply enjoy time at home. Knowing that Techton's work becomes part of those moments is something Chris takes pride in with every project.

 

As a family-owned business, that commitment has become a family tradition.  Chris's son and daughter have worked alongside him, learning firsthand the importance of craftsmanship, hard work, attention to detail, and treating every customer's home with respect.

 

Over the years, Techton Construction has built hundreds of decks throughout San Diego using a wide range of decking and railing materials.
